Gillian Peacock

Gillian is an experienced senior manager and business consultant and has held general management human resources, change management and operational roles in private, public sector and not for profit organisations.

 

Prior to joining Fore Consulting Gillian worked in a range of organisations developing capability and capacity with responsibility for the design and delivery of human resources policy, processes and procedures, assisting organisations to effectively manage their people through the employee life cycle.  As the General Manager Human Resources at Fairway Resolution Ltd, Cable Price New Zealand and New Zealand Red Cross she designed and implemented people strategies to support organisational performance and deliver strategic outcomes.

She is an experienced coach, facilitator and change manager.  Her coaching practice includes executive coaching, coaching for development and performance and career coaching. She is trained in competency-based recruitment approaches and has designed learning and development frameworks and delivered a variety of workshops including leadership and management development, team building, change management and career transition.

Gillian works with a diverse range of individuals, teams and organisations to design, develop and deliver:

  • Coaching and leadership assessment and development, coaching for performance management, feedback and development planning, and career coaching, goal setting and transition;

  • High performance teams; team building and profiling, enhancing how teams work together, defining and communicating strategy, purpose and vision that delivers outcomes;

  • Organisational capability and capacity, designing learning and development frameworks and delivering training;

  • Organisational structures, operating models and facilitating change management;

  • Change skills in leaders and team members, facilitating change conversations and delivering workshops that give managers and staff the skills and tools they need to cope with change;

  • Recruitment including competency based individual and large scale selection and assessment campaigns;

  • Resilience and wellbeing programmes for organisations and individuals; and

  • Strategies that lift staff engagement, creating employment brand to attract the right people and retain stars.

Gillian holds a degree in psychology and sociology, a diploma in counselling, a national certificate in public sector management (leadership development) and she is an accredited ICC coach. She is also a member of the Leadership Development Centre’s Expert Provider Panel and Wellington City Council’s Professional Coaching Panel.
